Lemon-Garlic Butter Chicken Wings
Chicken wings, specifically flats, are my favorite food groups. I don’t like ordering them out because I like getting messy with them and that’s just not super cute in public. I’ve made a few different variations of this recipe to see which I liked best and this one is so so good.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pack chicken wings (mine was about 2lbs)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sugar
4-5 tbsp cornstarch
2-3 tbsp salted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried parsely
juice of 1/2 small lemon
grated parmesan cheese (optional)
avocado oil spray
DIRECTIONS:
Remove chicken wings from tray and thoroughly pat dry. Place in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
To your bowl of chicken wings, drizzle with olive oil and mix.
Then, season with the following spices - 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp sugar, and salt to taste. Mix.
Sprinkle about 4-5 tbsp cornstarch over the chicken wings and mix until all pieces are coated. Add more cornstarch if needed.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Spray the bottom of the basket with avocado oil and place as many chicken wings in as you can fit. It can be tight!
Fry for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, mince 2 garlic cloves and place into a small microwave safe bowl. Add in 2-3 tbsp butter, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp dried parsley.
Microwave for 30 seconds until melted. Mix and squeeze 1/2 of a lemon into the butter.
Flip chicken wings after 10 minutes and continue to fry for another 8 minutes. When there is 1 min left, half of the garlic butter over top and continue for the last minute.
Remove chicken from air fryer and place on plate. Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and serve with your favorite dipping sauce! They are amazing on its own too!
